Go Mode

Open source · Android + the web

Your app.
Hands free.

Bring your web apps along. Connect your services in one Android shell, talk to their tools, and switch between them without starting a new conversation.

01 / CONNECT

Several services. One conversation.

Save your services and switch between their web interfaces. Every ready service stays callable, with one voice conversation and transcript across them.

02 / SPEAK

Talk to your tools.

Choose cloud voice, device speech with a remote model, or a model running on your phone. MCP connects the conversation to the tools your services expose.

03 / STAY IN THE LOOP

Alerts that take you there.

Host alerts arrive as native notifications. Tap one to open the right page in the right saved service, even when Go Mode is starting fresh.

Choose where the conversation runs

Your voice. Your choice.

Choose the speech mode, model, and language that fit your setup.

Cloud voice

Stream microphone audio to your gateway over WebRTC. Pick from its advertised audio choices and, where supported, choose the speaking voice you hear.

Device speech, remote model

Android handles speech recognition and reads replies aloud. A text-capable gateway handles the conversation and requests your host’s tools.

A model on your phone

Run conversation turns locally with Gemma 4 or LFM weights installed on the device. Experimental NeuDecide and Whistle + Needle engines match speech to tool actions.

On-device voice is not an offline guarantee: speech availability depends on Android and its speech service, and host tools still need a connection.

A platform, with clear boundaries

Native where it helps.
Web where it belongs.

Keep your frontend, accounts, and product APIs. Add Go Mode’s discovery contract and MCP tools for native voice and notifications. Your host authorizes every action.

caic uses Go Mode to bring coding-agent workflows to Android. The reusable platform works with other hosts too.
